LMU Team successful at international iGEM competition
At the iGEM Finals in Boston the LMU team was awarded two prizes and one honorable mention

The LMU-Munich iGEM Team participated with its project “BaKillus” successfully in this year’s iGEM competition. At the finals in Boston, the team of 14 highly motivated students won a gold medal and received honorable mention for their contribution in a study performed in 45 laboratories all over the world. The team was extremely happy to also receive the special award for the best online-documentation of their work (Best Wiki Award). For the LMU iGEM team, the Giant Jamboree in Boston with over 2000 participants was the absolute highlight of the iGEM competition. They can now look back at an educational and busy year full of excitement, creativity and great experiences.
